Dormie Network Foundation has a Record Year: 2023 Annual Report

2023 was a record year. The commitment of those who have donated to the Dormie Network Foundation or attended fundraising events continues to spark positive change in our communities.

We offer this Annual Report to showcase the impact we are all having as the Dormie family. The report also dives into our mission, key giving initiatives, and even features our Foundation Team sharing their favorite non-profits.

A message from Brian Schenk, Chief Philanthropy Officer:

As we reflect on the journey of the Dormie Network Foundation since its inception in January 2020, it’s remarkable to see the impact we’ve had on the nonprofit community and the game of golf. Our vision was to give back and support the nonprofits that strengthen our communities, and you, our dedicated members have been instrumental in realizing this vision.

In just four years, we’ve influenced more than $10 million in revenue for our nonprofit partners. Dormie Network is more than a collection of golf clubs; it’s a place for building relationships, networking, family retreats, and fun. Our shared love for golf has enabled us to support the communities that matter to us most.

2023 was a record year for the Foundation. We participated in over 2,175 nonprofit events across the U.S., helping more than 1,000 unique partners. We're thrilled to see our growth, from raising over $5.7 million in the past three years to $4.9 million in 2023 alone.

Our in-kind donation program, including our partnership with GolfStatus, has been a cornerstone of our efforts, generating significant funds for smaller organizations. The donated membership model has also been incredibly successful, raising over $3 million in 2023. Together, these efforts contributed over $4.5 million in support, and we're aiming to double this in 2024.

Our direct cash donations continue to forge strong partnerships and make a meaningful impact. In 2023, we contributed $346,866, slightly less than in 2022, but each partnership grows stronger. Highlights include a $100,000 gift to the Arbor Day Foundation for reforestation, supporting Team Red, White & Blue with $100,000 for Veteran programming, and granting $117,500 to GolfStatus partners.

As we look forward to 2024, we're filled with gratitude for your support. It's because of you that we can continue our charitable efforts and make a lasting impact. If you're passionate about an organization, please reach out. We're here to serve and support you in making a difference.
