Audrey was born and raised in Nebraska, where she grew up around the game of golf her whole life. Playing in high school and college, Dormie Network was more than a perfect fit for a career. She comes from a background in sales, politics, and non-profit work. Graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in Communication Studies, she has created essential skills that have helped her immensely in her tenure. A non-profit that she holds close to her heart is SeriousFun Network. They hold camps for children with medical conditions making sure they have no limits to having fun! Putting support and intention into action, she has traveled to volunteer at the camp for weeks at a time and still keeps in contact with her SeriousFun family. In her free time, she enjoys thrift shopping with her husband Ty and daughter Della and visiting family in Nebraska.
“SeriousFun provides a camp experience that is a barrier-free, fullyaccessible medical camp serving children with significant health challenges and their families, all at no charge to them. In 2022, I volunteered at a camp for children experiencing or dealing with Transplant, Cardiology, and Epilepsy/Neuro-Oncology challenges. I went in thinking that I might teach the kids something, but left having learned and gained so much. The experience the camps provide these kids is unmatched—no matter where you come from or what you have been through, you are welcomed with open arms. I would encourage anyone to go and volunteer, and you will gain an entirely new perspective on life.”
